About 7 years ago I started Blue Water Candy as something to do when the wind blew, and eventually stopped fishing for a living as this business grew to the point that I could not maintain both businesses.

While I miss being on the ocean about 250 days a year, this business does have its rewards, mainly being with family and friends more often. The weather was beautiful offshore today so we headed out with film crew in tow to shoot some more video of our new Roscoe Jig in action.  Once again we were fishing with Capt. With the popularity of vertical jigging gaining ground, last fall we introduced a new series of jigs and named them “Roscoe”.  Of course we fished the jig a number of times during development and final testing of the product.  Every time we went out, Roscoe caught fish, lots of fish!
